Abstract

By using asymptotic methods in the theory of differential equations and properties of linear singularly perturbed pencils of matrices, we investigate the problem of construction of an asymptotic solution of a two-point boundary-value problem for a linear singularly perturbed system of first-order differential equations in the case of a singular limit pencil of matrices that does not contain a regular kernel.
